This is where we like to keep you updated with interesting Stone & Floor Care articles and advice we see, explain how we typically work, and answer some common FAQ's.
If there is anything we don't cover that you'd like to see here, simply drop us a line!
At this stage we will give you an estimate based on the information provided to us. If you are happy with the estimate, James will normally do a floor inspection, do any demo or tests, and talk you through to process to be carried out on your floor to give you the best results. We then double check all dimensions and work brief to confirm or edit the estimate to a Quote.
Got a question? We’re here to help.
We are based in Hedge End on the outskirts of Southampton, and cover most of Hampshire and the New Forest.
We do work further a field and often work in London, West Sussex and Dorset.
We use a variety of equiptment depending on the type of floor and job requirements, but rest assure we use the best kit available! From our high powered Truckmount machine for Carpets and cleaning Tile & Stone, to our selection of Grinders and Polishers for stone Floors and Worktops. All our cleaners, consumables and sealers are all the best on the market too.
Our processes do not create much mess, and more of a slurry that we extract rather than dust.
In an ideal world all furniture would be removed prior to us starting, however this isnt always possible. We to to section areas off and move the items of furniture that cannot be stored elsewhere as we complete each section. If MDF baseboards or Skirting is exposed we ask that that is silicone sealed prior to doing the job. This is a simple task and we can often arrange or do it for you.
On the day of the clean we ask that all under floor heating is turned off.
Sadly not, however it makes ongoing cleaning much more effective, prevents staining and increases the life of your floor. We will advise you on the best cleaning methods or products going forward.
Yes we can, ond for worktops we can also protect the from further acid damage!
Depending on the severity usually yes we can.
This is a common question , but one that there is no straight forward answer to. There are so many variables to consider when pricing a job. type of surface, method to be used, number of processes etc etc, which is why we like to tailor each quote individually. Every floor is different.
However we have compiled a price guide to get an idea :
Please note that these are guide prices only and subject to minimum charges.
