How to Prepare for Your Dynamic Floor Care Appointment.
At Dynamic Floor Care, we value your time and aim to provide the best service for your specific needs. Depending on the service you've booked, there are various ways to prepare for our visit. Here's a guide to help you get ready:
1. Stone & Tile Floor Cleaning, Polishing, and Sealing
For this service, we typically perform an inspection and discuss details with you in person. However, as a general guide, we ask that you take the following steps:
- Furniture Removal: Ensure all items of furniture are removed from the room, including any white goods you want us to clean under and behind.
- Clear the Work Area: If you lack space to store furniture elsewhere, we can work in sections. In this case, move all furniture that cannot be moved out of the room to one area. Leave the area we'll start in, usually the furthest from the front door, completely free.
- Baseboard & MDF: Remove any baseboards before our arrival, and seal any exposed MDF with silicone. If you need assistance with this, please inform us before your appointment.
- Protect Appliances: We will protect fridges, ovens, white goods, and cupboards with plastic. Remove any items you may need from these areas.
- On-Site Assistance: Be on-site to assist with moving furniture back when necessary.
- No Walking on Wet Floors: Keep in mind that once our pre-spray or sealer is applied and wet, the floor cannot be walked on during that period.
2. Countertop & Worktop Polishing
For this service, ensure the following:
- Clear Countertops: Remove all items from the countertops and empty sinks.
- Access to Plug Sockets: Provide access to close plug sockets.
- Island Areas: Remove chairs or stools from around any islands to be polished.
3. Carpet Cleaning
Prepare for carpet cleaning by:
- Removing Small Items: Take out all smaller items, electricals, and breakables from the areas of rooms to be cleaned.
- Move Furniture: We'll move chairs, sofas, and coffee tables when possible, but make sure items behind them are moved before cleaning. Larger items like sideboards and display units need to be moved by the customer.
4. Upholstery Cleaning
For upholstery cleaning, ensure a clutter-free work area by:
- Moving Items: Remove coffee tables, lamps, and other items from the immediate area.
- Check Cushions: Check around and under cushions for loose items before our arrival.
- Excessive Dog Hair: If there's excessive dog hair, inform us prior to our arrival, as it may require more time to remove.
5. Wood Floor Cleaning & Refinishing
Similar to stone and tile, prepare for wood floor cleaning and refinishing by:
- Furniture Removal: Remove all items of furniture before our arrival to ensure clear access to the area to be cleaned.
For All Services:
- Parking: Leave us a driveway space or a direct parking place in front of the property for our convenience.
- Access: Ensure access to a tap and electrical sockets, which may be required for certain equipment.
If you have any questions or need further assistance, please don't hesitate to contact us. We look forward to providing you with exceptional service.
